Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Position Summary
A task crew member is responsible for performing and completing a multitude of general labor tasks throughout the greenhouse under the direct supervision of their Manager and/or Crew Leader. Responsibilities include maintaining quality standards, maintaining productivity goals, and ensuring the work area remains safe at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all safety policies are followed Spacing of plants on the ground Moving tables from one location to another Cleaning, pinching, and cutting of plants Operate table-moving equipment once trained and certified Support the hanging of plants as needed Work through provided task lists either independently or with a team Other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to work and communicate across multiple departments Ability to multitask and be a team player Ability to work in various types of weather conditions Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and seek solutions to problems Ability to follow directions and perform tasks to company standards Ability to work independently with little supervision
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of warehouse environment
Job Setting & Physical Demands
This position is primarily outdoors but may be required to work between locations and within an indoor office environment for administrative duties, which may require the use of computers and standard office equipment. Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens. There are occasional needs to work in confined spaces. Position requires long-term ability for standing, sitting, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis to fulfill essential duties. Candidate must have the ability to operate all machinery necessary within the department and across the facility, including but not limited to operating the table lifter and get certified and operate on internal vehicles. Candidate will also be regularly required to work at heights above 6 feet.
Employee must have the ability to life 35 pounds unaided, and regularly lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
