    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Wabanaki Public Health &amp; Wellness (WPHW) is growing, and we are excited to be adding new people to our team!</span>  If you value inclusivity, balance, and cultural centeredness and have a true passion for serving others, you may be a great fit for our team!  WPHW is a non-profit organization that serves four federally recognized tribes located in five communities:  the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians, the Aroostook Band of Mi'kmaq, the Passamaquoddy Tribe at Indian Township, the Passamaquoddy Tribe at Pleasant Point, and the Penobscot Nation.  Wabanaki traditions, language, and culture guide our approach and describe the ways we live in harmony with each other and the land we collectively share.  Services are available to community members living on and off-reservation across the State of Maine.<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Position Summary</span>:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Wabanaki Public Health and Wellness (WPHW) is seeking an energetic and passionate Water Quality Coordinator to help support our Sacred Relations Division. This position will focus on distributing water in the Sipayik Community. This position may also require the coordinator to support the transportation of water and refilling water jugs when needed. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">This position is part-time, 20 hours per week and reports to the Food Systems Manager. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Duties and Responsibilities</span>:</span><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">  </span></p>\n<ul></ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Responsible for coordinating water drop offs by organizations – Such as Good Shepherd Food Bank. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Responsible for coordinating and scheduling efforts to distribute water to community members. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Coordinating with Tribal Leadership to help establish water policies and procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Driving your personal and/or company vehicles to pick up empty jugs of water and refill them at the pump house. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Responsible for refilling water jugs for elders and people with disabilities when needed. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Ability to work independently and as a part of a team when required. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Well organized and apt in problem solving. </span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">Perform other duties as assigned.</span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Education, Experience and Licensing Required</span>:</span><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Must have experience working or living in the Sipayik community. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Must have and maintain a valid Maine driver’s license. <br>o    A clean driving record.<br>o    Access to reliable transportation. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">  </span></p>\n<ul></ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Skills and Qualifications Required</span>:</span><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">  </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">Experience working with Tribal Communities.  </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">Experience using Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel. <br></span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">Exceptional communication, problem-solving, public speaking and listening skills. <br></span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">Ability to lift and carry fifty (50) pounds.
