Our Rheumatology Department is currently seeking a full time <strong>Infusion RN&nbsp;</strong>to deliver care that is second to none in our high volume-fast paced practice.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Primary duties for this position include, but are not limited to:&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:13.5pt;\"><strong>Clinic Duties include:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Assisting with procedures</li><li>Preparing and administering injections</li><li>Following up on and recording test results</li><li>Providing patient education</li><li>Completing prior authorizations for treatments and diagnostic testing</li><li>Screening calls for physicians and answering patient questions</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><strong>Infusion Duties include:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Performing initial and ongoing patient assessments prior to and during each infusion to ensure patients are free of infection, adverse reactions, or other complications</li><li>Performing venipuncture using aseptic technique and maintaining sterility of the closed IV system</li><li>Educating patients on IV therapy and the infusion process</li><li>Preparing IV medications according to drug reconstitution protocols</li><li>Administering medications per manufacturer guidelines</li><li>Assisting with clinical drug study infusions as needed</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Qualifications:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Current RN license is required.</li><li>Experience providing infusion treatment, preferred.</li><li>BLS required or must obtain within the first 60 days of employment.</li><li>Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems.</li><li>Strong Commitment to patient care and teamwork.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality.</li><li>Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Why Join PCI?</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.</li><li>No nights or weekends.</li><li>Paid holidays and a generous paid time off program.</li><li>Supportive, team-oriented work environment focused on quality and compassion in patient care.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">PCI is E.O.E.
