The Operations Director provides leadership to the assigned department directors and managers who are responsible for supervising and assuring patient safety and delivery of high quality care. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Operations</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Assists in the developing and managing the nursing services budget and ensuring sufficient number of qualified staff to assess patient needs  </li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Ensures that continuous performance improvement initiatives are designed to measure and improve the quality of care delivered and are consistent with the organization priorities</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Works collaboratively with other patient care and support departments, fostering a climate of open communication and mutualproblem solvingactivities </li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Initiates andparticipatesin joint performance improvement activities </li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Assists in managing costs by continually seeking data that willidentifyopportunities and take action to eliminate non-value costs </li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Activelyparticipateswith others in planning activities associated with design or implementation of renovation or new construction of patient care areas </li>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Master’s degree in Nursing or BS degree in Nursing or related healthcare field and a minimum of five (5) years nursing experience, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial capacity; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. </li>\n<li>RN licensed in Georgia  </li>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Two (2) years clinical experience in specialty. </li>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Work Hours:</h2>8am-430pm",
