We are proud to have long-standing relationships with leading universities, hotels, hospitals, commercial developers, financial institutions, and corporations.</p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>The Senior Project Manager – Mechanical is responsible for oversight of mechanical construction projects from start to start to finish, on time and on budget.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Compensation Range:   $145,000 - $165,000</p>\n<p>This position is bonus eligible.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage budgets, schedules, and forecasts. </li>\n <li>Lead teams, including administrative assistants, project engineers, assistant project managers, field staff, and subcontractors as necessary to ensure operational and financial performance.</li>\n <li>Prepare for and participate in monthly project reviews with CEO, President, CFO, VP HVAC, Controller, to evaluate job performance, assess risks and develop action plans. </li>\n <li>Be the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and subcontractors. </li>\n <li>Practice and promote EMCOR and J.C. Higgin’s Code of Ethics, “Leading with Character” in conducting business – both internally and externally. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Requirements/Preferred Education and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related subject (or equivalent field/industry experience).</li>\n <li>8-10 years professional experience including progressive management positions in the Mechanical contracting industry.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with construction contract language.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with construction means and methods.</li>\n <li>Understanding of principles, methods, and techniques of plumbing/mechanical, architectural, civil, and electrical engineering.</li>\n <li>Evaluate proposals from vendors and/or subcontractors for compliance with scope of work.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>COMPUTER SKILLS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Microsoft Office expertise, including Excel skills; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project a plus. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to initiate actions and to deliver on commitments in a timely, accurate manner.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with the highest level of integrity and ethical standards.</li>\n <li>Ability to improve processes, analyze, and solve problems on a proactive and tactical level.</li>\n <li>Commitment to Company values of: integrity; discipline; transparency; mutual respect and trust; commitment to safety, and teamwork, </li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communications skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work well and contribute as a partner in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to lead people and get results through influence.</li>\n <li>Technical skills in accounting and finance within the level of experience for this position.</li>\n <li>Ability to effectively communicate, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of employees, government agencies, trade unions, general and subcontractors, and suppliers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#ecs</p>\n<h2>Physical Demands</h2>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
