If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as an engineer on the planning, design, construction and/or commissioning of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.</li>\n <li>Specialize in challenging projects outside of the treatment plant, including: the planning and design of water/wastewater pipelines, pump stations, trenchless pipelines, pipeline seismic retrofits, deep wastewater pump stations and many other diverse projects. </li>\n <li>Work on engineering planning and design projects and perform conceptual and preliminary design activities including site visits, overseeing fieldwork, alternatives analysis, and report preparation.</li>\n <li>Develop civil engineering plans and specifications.</li>\n <li>Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects.</li>\n <li>Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.</li>\n <li>Assist project manager with the planning, scheduling, coordinating, supervising, and reviewing of the work of the project team, including: environmental, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation/controls engineers; drafters, technicians; technical experts; and subconsultants.</li>\n <li>Assist project manager with meeting budget, schedule, and quality goals.</li>\n <li>Review contractor submittals for conformance with contract plans and specifications and evaluate requests for information as part of engineering services during construction.</li>\n <li>Travel may be required depending on the project assignment but most projects are local.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.</li>\n <li>4 to 8 years of directly relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering.</li>\n <li>Registration as a Professional Engineer.</li>\n <li>Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills with clients and project teams.</li>\n <li>Work well in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.</li>\n <li>Active in professional associations.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation Range</h2>\n<p>An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.</p>\n<h2>Other Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p>Carollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the support employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
