We collaborate to deliver best-in-class services and care, and we’re looking for <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Relief </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Nurse Practitioners</span> to join us in our mission.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Overview</span></p>\n<p>We are seeking several Nurse Practitioners to work as members of the interprofessional primary care team, which includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, administrative staff, and allied health professionals.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The NP operates as the Most Responsible Provider and will serve clients in collaboration with the interprofessional team, in walk-in and as rostered patients, provide coverage for clients of other providers when on leave, support same day/urgent appointment requests, participate in interdisciplinary case reviews, and support clients in accessing services available across the centre.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Baccalaureate in Nursing and Diploma/Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner)</li>\n<li>Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario – Extended class</li>\n<li>Minimum two years’ experience as a nurse practitioner in a community or primary care setting; Experience in mental health is an asset</li>\n<li>Strong clinical skills and diagnostic abilities: Performs medical examinations and evaluations, diagnoses, treatment, follow-up, consultation and health education</li>\n<li>Previous experience working with culturally diverse and marginalized populations</li>\n<li>Knowledge and training in trauma-informed care, psychotherapy modalities are an asset</li>\n<li>Knowledge and understanding of the Community Health Centre model of health and well-being</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and be self-directed</li>\n<li>Effective organizational, critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt communication styles to meet the needs of clients, health team members and community partners</li>\n<li>Fluency in English is required.
