In this role, you will work as part of a team to solve high-profile real-world problems for your clients relating to electrical and electronics systems. You will perform analyses relating to cutting edge electrical and electronic systems including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technologies. </p>\n<h2>You will be responsible for</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Critically assessing systems and device designs in safety-related risk assessments</li>\n <li>Performing hands-on testing and analysis of electrical and electronics field failures</li>\n <li>Consulting directly with clients regarding ongoing Exponent work</li>\n <li>Preparing technical proposals, pursuing business developments, and supervising and managing laboratory testing</li>\n <li>Critically assessing test results, methods of analysis and testing protocols, generating new testing protocols based on new product designs, maintaining a systematic approach to data collection and storage, and report writing</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>You will have the following skills and qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field</li>\n <li>Technical background in electronics, electrical circuits, controls or embedded systems</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and ability to work independently or in multidisciplinary teams</li>\n <li>Ability to gather information and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and related industry</li>\n <li>Ability to support multiple group projects and market the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Practice and its consulting services</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Applicants are encouraged to submit a CV with publications (feel free to include publications that are in review or pending) [not restricted to 1 page].</em></p>\n<h2>Life @ Exponent</h2>\n<p>To learn more about life at Exponent and our impact, please visit the following links:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>https://www.exponent.com/careers/life-exponent</p>\n<p>https://www.exponent.com/company/our-impact</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Attracting, inspiring, developing, and rewarding exceptional people with diverse backgrounds and expertise are central to our corporate culture.
