    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p><strong>WORK LOCATION: This position allows for a hybrid / flexible work schedule with a mix of work spent on site at the Sargent & Lundy office and working remote from home. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical Analytical Engineer specializing in Electromagnetic Transient (EMT) analysis of power systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing complex calculations related to Transient Over-Voltage (TOV), Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV), Switching Studies, and Insulation Coordination. Additionally, the candidate should possess extensive software proficiency in PSCAD or EMTP-RV. </p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p>Responsibilities: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct detailed electrical analysis utilizing time domain techniques to evaluate system performance and identify potential issues. </li>\n <li>Perform complex calculations related to Transient Over-Voltage (TOV), Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV), Switching Studies, and Insulation Coordination. </li>\n <li>Develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize system performance and mitigate risks. </li>\n <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and support in electrical analysis and troubleshooting. </li>\n <li>Prepare comprehensive reports documenting analysis findings, recommendations, and design modifications. </li>\n <li>Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to time domain analysis. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Essential skills and experience:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (background in Power/Power Systems) and sufficient industry experience is considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
