With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.</p>\n<p><strong>Role description:</strong></p>\n<p>Arcadis is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager with a minimum of 15 years of experience to join our Water Business Line in Indianapolis, IN.&nbsp;This role will be a “seller/doer” to lead and direct the development of water, wastewater and stormwater projects as a client-facing project manager.</p>\n<p>This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated engineer to join our team with support from one of the best-qualified consulting firms in the country. The Water/Wastewater Project Manager will utilize their expertise and technical knowledge of Water/Wastewater evaluations, design &amp; construction to serve as a Project Manager and Client Manager on local projects.&nbsp;This is a ‘hands-on’ role with an expectation of leading projects, managing staff, and participating in business development activities.</p>\n<p><strong>Role accountabilities:</strong></p>\n<p>Leading and directing the development of water, wastewater, and stormwater projects as a client-facing project manager, leveraging the candidate’s experience in water distribution system, wastewater collection system, stormwater management, pump / lift station, and water / wastewater treatment facility engineering including investigations, studies, analysis, designs, and construction administration services.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Work may include being embedded in a local client’s office as needed.&nbsp;Additional duties include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Managing the planning, design, and construction administration of projects to ensure compliance with contracts, drawings, specifications, codes,&nbsp;statutes, rules, and regulations, as well as&nbsp;Arcadis quality and safety practices.</li>\n <li>Communicating with clients, establishing goals and objectives for project teams, and scheduling and coordinating resources to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the performance expectations of the client.</li>\n <li>Providing technical expertise on multi-disciplined projects as a design leader, QA/QC reviewer, or technical advisor.&nbsp; Supervising and supporting the work of others while mentoring junior level engineers and technical staff.</li>\n <li>Working directly with clients to determine needs, deliver solutions, and lead the growth of client relationships with target clients.</li>\n <li>Leading teams in the marketing and proposal phases of projects including preparation of winning proposals and successful presentations, as well as developing scopes of work and budgets for various water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 15 years of water / wastewater and stormwater experience. Project management experience including at least 10 years of demonstrated experience managing mid to large sized, multi-disciplined, municipal water, wastewater or stormwater projects with responsibilities similar to those described above.</li>\n <li>Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field of study.</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE) License in IN.&nbsp; Ability to obtain license in IL, OH, and KY.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Key Skills &amp; Attributes:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Team leadership experience including managing overall project delivery expectations, prioritizing tasks, and mentoring. Experience in the preparation of construction documents, including drawings, technical specifications and cost estimates.</li>\n <li>Client management skills, including identifying potential projects, preparing and developing&nbsp;proposals, and client relationship building.</li>\n <li>Strong business acumen and excellent communication skills both verbal and written.</li>\n <li>Active in local professional associations, industry activities, and conferences.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p>Technical expertise and experience with water / wastewater projects.&nbsp; Knowledge and experience with the local municipalities in Indiana and Kentucky.&nbsp; Successful record of managing client accounts, assisting in new client development, and leading project pursuits and pursuit teams, in a collaborative fashion, on a variety of opportunities.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Why Arcadis?</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
