    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Title: Head Trainer, Greystone College</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Start date: Immediate</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Report to: Director of Training</span><br><br>PURPOSE OF THE POSITION</span></p>\n<p> Reporting to the Director of Training, the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Head Trainer </span>will also provide on-campus support for students and support academic management with a range of administrative tasks, such as conducting student completions and student progress meetings.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The Head Trainer works collaboratively other teams to support student progression, while maintaining a clear focus on academic oversight and support.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The Head Trainers form part of the core Greystone College Academic Team, providing leadership and demonstration of our core values and missions within the wider community.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL QUALITIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of our regulatory framework including ASQA, the SRTOs, ESOS Act &amp; National Code and other legislative instruments</li>\n<li>A ‘can do’ attitude and commitment to supporting trainers and students</li>\n<li>Ability to perform in a diverse work environment</li>\n<li>Awareness of the needs and challenges of the international student community</li>\n<li>Networking and relationship building and collaboration skills</li>\n<li>Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills</li>\n<li>High level of emotional intelligence and ability to effectively manage conflict and difficult situations</li>\n<li>Exceptional project management, organisational and administrative skills including the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines</li>\n<li>Problem solving skills and a curious mind</li>\n<li>Ability to maintain composure, balance workload and conflicting priorities</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to critically analyse issues and develop and implement effective strategies and solutions that support ILSC Education Groups goals and values</li>\n<li>Knowledge of training and facilitation skills and techniques required for delivering vocational programs, in both face to face and e-learning environments</li>\n<li>Technology skills required to navigate Microsoft 365 programs, Moodle (LMS), Odyssey, SharePoint and other programs and platforms as required</li>\n<li>This position is people facing and requires attendance on campus 3 days a week at a minimum<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>TAE40110 equivalent or above</li>\n<li>Qualifications in Business, Education or Management</li>\n<li>Other relevant VET qualifications<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p> <br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WORK LOCATION AND ATTENDANCE</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Head Trainer position </span>is a people-facing position that requires a minimum attendance of three days on campus to ensure students and Greystone College staff are adequately supported. The specific days and times will be confirmed by the manager. This position requires a working day on Saturday.
