The Coordinator is organized and adept at problem solving. A solid understanding of logistical operations is important for success.</p><p><strong>Typical Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure&nbsp;safety&nbsp;practices&nbsp;and&nbsp;procedures&nbsp;are&nbsp;adhered&nbsp;to&nbsp;at&nbsp;all&nbsp;times</li><li>Maintain&nbsp;compliance&nbsp;with&nbsp;all&nbsp;DOT&nbsp;regulations&nbsp;for&nbsp;branch&rsquo;s&nbsp;fleet&nbsp;and&nbsp;CDL&nbsp;drivers</li><li>Manage&nbsp;all&nbsp;CDL&nbsp;drivers&nbsp;and&nbsp;yard&nbsp;personnel;&nbsp;coordinate&nbsp;and&nbsp;plan&nbsp;transportation,&nbsp;shipping&nbsp;and delivery schedules for on-going projects</li><li>Collaborate&nbsp;with&nbsp;suppliers,&nbsp;carriers&nbsp;and&nbsp;internal&nbsp;teams&nbsp;to&nbsp;ensure&nbsp;timely&nbsp;and&nbsp;cost-effective logistical operations</li><li>Oversee&nbsp;branch&nbsp;shipping&nbsp;and&nbsp;receiving&nbsp;practices</li><li>Enforce&nbsp;company&nbsp;policies&nbsp;and&nbsp;procedures&nbsp;with&nbsp;regard&nbsp;to&nbsp;logistics,&nbsp;inventory&nbsp;and&nbsp;fleet management</li><li>Conduct&nbsp;regular&nbsp;inventory&nbsp;audits&nbsp;and&nbsp;reconcile&nbsp;discrepancies</li><li>Provide&nbsp;timely&nbsp;updates&nbsp;on&nbsp;shipment&nbsp;status&nbsp;to&nbsp;stakeholders</li><li>Address&nbsp;inquiries&nbsp;and&nbsp;concerns&nbsp;from&nbsp;customers&nbsp;and&nbsp;branches</li><li>Implement&nbsp;corrective&nbsp;actions&nbsp;to&nbsp;drive&nbsp;continuous&nbsp;improvement</li><li>Identify&nbsp;opportunities&nbsp;for&nbsp;cost&nbsp;savings&nbsp;in&nbsp;transportation&nbsp;and&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;operations</li><li>Ensure necessary shipping documents and permits are precured when required</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s&nbsp;degree&nbsp;or&nbsp;equivalent&nbsp;experience</li><li>Knowledge&nbsp;of&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;and&nbsp;supply&nbsp;chain&nbsp;processes</li><li>Excellent&nbsp;organizational&nbsp;and&nbsp;multitasking&nbsp;abilities</li><li>Proficient&nbsp;in&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;software&nbsp;and&nbsp;Microsoft&nbsp;Office&nbsp;Suite</li><li>Attention to detail and problem-solving skills</li><li>This job has specific DOT requirements.
