This office-based role can be located in Vancouver, Hope, or Kelowna, BC, with flexibility for remote work from project sites as required. The successful candidate will play a key role in drafting and design support for multiple projects, working closely with our survey team, Quality Control (QC), and site operations teams.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to adapt to the dynamic demands of each project. You will be part of a collaborative team committed to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D software to create detailed designs and drafting for civil construction projects, including grading tools, alignments, corridors, and CSV stakeout files based on IFC drawings.</li>\n<li>Perform drafting tasks related to earthworks, dams, pipelines, road alignments, and building excavations, ensuring accuracy and precision.</li>\n<li>Process and compile survey data to produce comparison reports, sketches, and other project-related documentation.</li>\n<li>Interpret data for various construction-related analyses, including pre-pour, topographic, volume, shim, plumbness, deviation, and as-built reports.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with the Quality Control team to meet reporting requirements and ensure project compliance.</li>\n<li>Maintain organized drawing and survey logs for accurate record-keeping.</li>\n<li>Provide support to field surveying and drone surveying initiatives as needed.</li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.</li>\n<li>Manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications &amp; Skills</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years of experience as a drafter or CAD technician in civil construction.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with proven expertise in grading tools, alignments, corridors, and other related functionalities.</li>\n<li>A 2-3 year college diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology, or a 1-2 year certificate in Civil Engineering Technology.</li>\n<li>Experience working on projects involving earthworks, dams, pipelines, road alignments, and structural excavations.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with processing survey data and creating detailed comparison reports and sketches.</li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills to interpret construction data for various applications, such as topographic surveys and as-built documentation.</li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a project team.</li>\n<li>Field surveying and drone surveying experience is considered an asset.</li>\n<li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>#indeedsj</em></p>",
