To maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in a safe manner throughout the store and perform other functions as required in other departments within the store while maintaining great customer service.</p>\n<h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must demonstrate capability to interact with customers.</li>\n <li>Must have a pleasant, outgoing, self-motivated personality.</li>\n <li>Must demonstrate minimum mechanical skills.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions.</li>\n <li>Ability to work a scheduled based on the business needs of the store location.</li>\n <li>Authorized to work within the U.S. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary by the company.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Commit to the “Golden Rule” and work with other associates to build a strong maintenance team</li>\n <li>Achieve the highest associate morale in the industry by working in a style that is Respectful, Supportive and Totally Team Oriented (RSTO).</li>\n <li>Handle each customer transaction in a courteous, friendly manner. Go out of your way to satisfy any request for assistance and take customer to item located within the store. </li>\n <li>Assist customers in retrieving items from inaccessible areas or in obtaining products that are either located in the back room or that they may have difficulty in handling.</li>\n <li>Observe all store rules and company policies.</li>\n <li>Be safety conscious and correct any unsafe conditions you observe.</li>\n <li>Observe shift operating hours at all times as scheduled or assigned by store manager.</li>\n <li>Adhere to all local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations.</li>\n <li>Carry out various assignments made by store manager.</li>\n <li>Frequent sweeping and mopping of entire store and periodic cleaning of restrooms, break room, and other areas.</li>\n <li>Daily washing of sales floor and deep cleaning of refrigerated cases.</li>\n <li>Assist departments with weekly cleaning jobs like shelves, display bases, cases, etc.</li>\n <li>Maintain bottle returns in courtesy booth and storage areas.</li>\n <li>Other cleaning and minor repair jobs to keep the store the “cleanest in the industry”.</li>\n <li>Practice the “Cleaner’s Creed” and proper sanitation procedures to help keep the entire store neat and clean.</li>\n <li>Handle damaged and spoiled products according to company policy and assist in controlling the level of damaged goods.</li>\n <li>Comply fully with all safety policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Exercise proper safety practices when lifting or moving deliveries or using equipment.</li>\n <li>Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times and observe company dress code. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Secondary Job Functions:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Occasional calls to the front end to help assist during busy times.</li>\n <li>Notify management of associate theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized mark downs or property defacement.</li>\n <li>Successful completion of the onboarding/e-learnings and checklist within 30 days of hire/entering the department.</li>\n <li>Other duties assigned by management.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Demands: (per work day)</h2>\n<p>The physical demands and safety risk factors of the job listed below may occur during each work shift and are listed according to their frequency. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Frequency</strong></p>\n<p>Sitting, pushing and pulling up to 250 lbs, climbing up to 8 feet, kneeling, and crouching. </p>\n<p>1-33% (O) Occasionally</p>\n<p>Carrying and lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, balancing, stooping, and reaching at waist or overhead. </p>\n<p>34-66% (F) Frequently</p>\n<p>Standing or walking on tile or concrete, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, seeing, hearing, and smelling. </p>\n<p>67-100% (C) Continuously</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Safety Risk Factors</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Frequency</strong></p>\n<p>Loud noise, cluttered floor surface, contact with skin irritants, toxic exposure (see material safety data sheet) nuisance dust, fumes, and sprays, and hazardous cleaning solutions. </p>\n<p>1-33% (O) Occasionally</p>\n<p>Twisting of back and neck, slippery floor surface, and contact with sharp objects. </p>\n<p>34-66% (F) Frequently</p>\n<p>Hazardous equipment (mechanical moving parts). </p>\n<p>67-100% (C) Continuously</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Machines, tools, and equipment utilized: </strong></p>\n<p>Mop, broom, vacuum, maintenance cart, other cleaning supplies and equipment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Repetitive Action:</strong></p>\n<p>Continuous movement of entire body.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong> Working environment is inside and outside, and may include exposure to cold and hot temperatures in wet or humid environments.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Hiring Range:</strong> In accordance with MA Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to education, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
