The Bowery Mission meets essential needs and creates transformative communities with men, women, children, and families in New York so that we can together overcome homelessness and poverty and flourish. </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Key role in creating a hospitable environment for guests and residents, with an emphasis on maintaining the buildings and grounds. Perform a variety of duties to keep equipment, systems, and spaces ready to use. Carry out physical review of assigned areas. Complete checklists, respond to work orders, help meet facility needs across teams.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt\">Provide ongoing physical review of assigned areas (including roof and sidewalks). </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt\">Perform tasks to maintain essential systems, such as preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment, completing assigned checklists, minor plumbing repairs, and responding to work orders.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt\">Maintain a clean, organized workspace. Responsible for provided tools, materials, etc., and keeping them available for use.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt\">Assist Facility staff and other teams to provide excellent service. Includes a variety of tasks, such as physically assisting with event/space set-up and helping during events.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt\">Note and communicate maintenance and supply needs throughout assigned areas. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt\">Duties include reaching, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday: 9:00am-5:30pm</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Requires availability for days, nights, evenings, weekends, and holiday work hours as assigned.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt\">Embrace's the organization’s Statement of Faith. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt\">High school diploma or equivalent.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt\">2+ years Facilities experience.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt\">Preventative maintenance practices.
