Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community.</em></p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>Position Title: Pulmonologist</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Job Summary: We are seeking for an experienced Pulmonologists to assess, diagnose and treat patients with severe or chronic breathing issues. The Pulmonologist should be trained in internal medicine and the cardio-pulmonary system, diagnosing and treating structural, inflammatory, infectious and neoplastic respiratory disorders.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To be successful as a pulmonologist you must show empathy and compassion towards your patients and be knowledgeable in specialist procedures, such as pleural biopsies.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>J1 Waiver and CONRAD 30 Waiver Candidates Welcome!!!</strong></em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Consulting with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns.</li>\n <li>Diagnosing and treating conditions, such as asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema.</li>\n <li>Using and interpreting pulmonological exams and tests to aid in the diagnosis of cardiopulmonary diseases and conditions, including CT scans, chest fluoroscopies, ultrasounds, and bronchoscopies.</li>\n <li>Performing various specialized procedures in order to acquire samples of the chest wall lining or the lungs, for further analysis.</li>\n <li>Providing immunizations against preventable cardiopulmonary diseases.</li>\n <li>Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests and/or treatments prescribed, and test results.</li>\n <li>Providing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.</li>\n <li>Conducting research into the testing and development of new medications and methods of treatment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.</li>\n <li>Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.</li>\n <li>3 to 7 years’ internship and clinical residency training, specializing in pulmonology.</li>\n <li>Certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine in pulmonology.</li>\n <li>Valid and active medical license in the state you wish to practice.</li>\n <li>Exceptional attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Outstanding research and analytical skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent communicator who can empathize with patients.</li>\n <li>Flexible working hours.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Salary: $250,000-$300,000</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p><strong><em>Essen Health Care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically-diverse population.</em></strong></p>",
