The field research site includes 100 acres of research space utilized by Danforth Center scientific teams and collaborators to carry out a diversity of projects in support of the mission of the Danforth Center, to improve the human condition through plant science. The Field Research Tech will play a critical role in execution of processes ranging from field preparation to in-season management and data gathering, through crop harvest and processing to achieve high quality experimental results. The Field Research Tech will work closely with the Farm Manager and Assistant Farm manager and will take an active role in carrying out field work, including planning, logistical, and scientific support.
