Our people are what make North American Construction Group an industry leader, its our people that keep the largest fleet of equipment in Western Canada running and it's our people that keep our job sites safe.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What’s In It for You?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority, and we live it 3-6-5!</li>\n <li>Market aligned salary & bonus program</li>\n <li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage and employer paid premiums</li>\n <li>GRRSP matching program</li>\n <li>Paid vacation and personal time</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement program and career growth and development</li>\n <li>Social culture and employee events </li>\n</ul>\n<p>See for yourself from our Senior Business Analyst, Curtis: “There are a lot of things I like about working for NACG, like the opportunity that they open for you for career advancement, great team, awesome leadership, best benefit package for me and my family, flexible time if you need some adjustments in your work schedule and of course the compensation I would say that, I can see myself retiring at NACG!”</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>What You’ll Be Doing</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate in RFx activities, including review of client documents and preparation of contract markups, ensuring that NACG’s commercial and contractual positions are accurately reflected in contractual documents.</li>\n <li>Participate in the review and evaluation of RFx packages and support the development of bidding strategies by identifying commercial risks and preparing deviation summaries for review.</li>\n <li>Participate in the development, review and evaluation of subcontractor RFx packages, ensuring subcontract documents reflect NACG’s requirements with respect to scope of work, terms and conditions and schedules. </li>\n <li>Provide contract review advice and guidance to NACG divisions in the areas of contract and subcontract development and finalization. </li>\n <li>Support operations by assisting with contract and subcontract activities.</li>\n <li>Support compliance with corporate policies and procedures as they pertain to contract management. </li>\n <li>Liaise with finance, estimating, operations, legal and other stakeholders to gather information required for contract review and documentation.</li>\n <li>Provide guidance to office and operations personnel with respect to contractual obligations and interpretation. </li>\n <li>Maintain a working awareness of relevant legislation, regulations and industry contracting practices.</li>\n <li>Office-based position, working from both the Acheson and Edmonton locations. </li>\n <li>Other duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>What Makes You the ONE</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years of progressive contract development and administration experience, preferably in civil construction, with knowledge of contract and commercial principles.</li>\n <li>Exposure to field-based contract management experience in industrial, energy, mining or construction industries. </li>\n <li>Experience in Microsoft Office applications; SharePoint.</li>\n <li>Post-secondary education or equivalent experience relating to contract development, contract management, business management, or a related discipline. </li>\n <li>Highly motivated and self-managed, with the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment with limited supervision.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others in a positive manner.</li>\n <li>Excellent analytical and attention-to-detail.</li>\n <li>Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to monitor and maintain the efficient flow of documents and information.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of the RFx process, contract types and applications.</li>\n <li>High level of discretion and confidentiality.</li>\n <li>Ability to support contract negotiations.</li>\n <li>Ability to work as a team player in a team environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Summary</h2>\n<p><strong><u>What’s Next</u></strong></p>\n<p>After you send us your resume, our Recruitment team will work with the hiring division to determine candidates we’d like to meet with.
