Description
Our team is looking for a qualified, self-motivated Project Manager experienced in Water Resources. WHAT YOU’LL DO…
Work as a lead designer on water resource projects. Interact with clients, explaining scope and requirements at the clients’ comfort level. Provide direction and assistance throughout the project life cycle. Help the client understand how changes impact the project budget. Develop and supervise engineering work of municipal water, wastewater and stormwater projects. Conduct planning studies, guide design and construction phases of the project. Prepare preliminary engineering reports that meet the requirements of various funding agencies. Prepare bidding documents for municipal public works projects. Determine the scope of work involved and plan, lead and supervise the engineering work of the project team. Provide municipal engineering expertise to other individuals and work groups within the firm, which may involve the adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria. Interpret, organize, execute and coordinate engineering projects that have unique and complex criteria. Plan, develop, coordinate and direct large and important projects of major scope and importance. Lead and supervise technical team members. WHAT YOU NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. 6 years of relevant, progressive experience in the civil engineering industry, with an emphasis on stormwater projects. Professional Engineering License in Indiana (or the ability to obtain licensure in the Indiana through reciprocity). Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to think critically, manage time and problem solve. Strong data analysis and organizational skills. Complete competence working well independently and on a team. Applicant must possess high ethical standards, have a strong sense of commitment to self-development, teamwork, and a desire to work in a deadline-driven team environment. PREFERRED SKILLS, BUT NOT REQUIRED
Ability to oversee permit approvals for environmental, floodplain and stormwater projects. Experience with sewer system modeling software and analysis of separate and combined systems. WHY WORK WITH US
