NEC develops innovative digital learning tools and applications that support NPS graduate-level instruction and academic programming. This position will bridge software development, educational technology, and interactive media to deliver cutting-edge learning applications for NPS students and faculty. This position will design, develop, and maintain interactive online educational applications, simulations, and dashboards, ensuring NPS has modern, reliable, and user-friendly digital tools that enhance the teaching and learning experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>FWI is expanding rapidly and has been recognized as a 2024 and 2025 Top Workplace by the Washington Post, offering excellent growth opportunities in a collaborative environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>**Position is contingent upon contract award**</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Schedule and Location:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>On-Site:</strong> This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, develop, and maintain interactive online educational applications</li>\n <li>Program simulations, dashboards, and multimedia applets for computer, tablet, and mobile platforms</li>\n <li>Maintain code inventories; research emerging programming and media development trends</li>\n <li>Provide consultation on media graphics for student academic projects</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Required: </p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>BA/BS degree in computer programming or relevant discipline.</p><p>3 years of experience designing, developing, debugging, and implementing software.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Desired: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Independent programming experience including design, specifications, integration, testing, QA, technical documentation, and effectiveness assessment. </li>\n <li>Ability to perform feasibility analysis for future projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Why Join Our Team</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At FWI, we place the highest importance on creating an exceptional employee experience.
