    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW:</strong></p><p>The jewelry specialist must be able to sort, provide quality assessment, anticipate value, and identify specific jewelry items, designer/maker marks, and use appropriately methods of testing to sell items online. &nbsp;In addition, the jewelry specialist is responsible to list, photograph, and provide descriptions for online sale.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p>1. Exemplifies Goodwill Southeast Georgia&rsquo;s mission, vision, and values within all aspects of assigned work.</p><p>2. Sorts, evaluates, and identifies items by value to list for online sale.</p><p>3. Able to use provided equipment to verify jewelry specifications (i.e., cut, weight, carat, metal, etc.)</p><p>4. Strong attention to detail to describe items for resale.</p><p>5. Lists items accurately with comprehensive and grammatically correct descriptions.</p><p>6. Researches specialty items to ensure proper and creative descriptions maximize their exposure and describes value.</p><p>7. Follows all posting procedures to assign listing numbers and maintain proper placement into storage area to await purchase.</p><p>8. Properly photographs items with a digital camera or cell phone to market and accurately represent the item to potential buyers.</p><p>9. Communicates with customers via email to address questions and resolve issues or concerns regarding listed product using best practices in customer service.</p><p>10. Follows all established policies and procedures related to online sales and standards of operation.</p><p>11. Prepares items for accurate shipment.</p><p>12. Meets or exceeds daily listing and/or shipping goals.</p><p>13. Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment.</p><p>14. Maintains a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a positive manner with customers, co-workers, and leadership.</p><p>15. Other duties as assigned &ndash; including the listing of non-jewelry items to meet list/ship goals.</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED</strong>:</p><p>* Strong knowledge of jewelry, collectibles, and art. &nbsp;Ability to use online forums to research items to determine appropriate value.</p><p>* Past jewelry industry experience preferred. &nbsp;GIA/FGA a plus.</p><p>* Past e-commerce experience preferred.</p><p>* High school diploma or GED.</p><p>* Computer skills, knowledge to navigate through online sales portals, payment systems, shipping systems, and online value sites.</p><p>* Experience using a digital camera or cell phone camera.</p><p>* Eye for great picture taking to pictorially describe items.</p><p>* Creative writing skills and strong attention to detail.</p><p>* Ability to learn quickly and retain information.</p><p>* Ability to work in collaborative team environments.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p></div></div>\n",
