    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Data Scientist enables advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making across the Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC). This role applies scientific, statistical, and computational techniques to process, structure, and analyze large volumes of multi-source intelligence data. The Data Scientist builds and deploys AI/ML models, advanced automation solutions, and predictive analytics capabilities that enhance intelligence processes, strengthen situational awareness, and directly support operational planning and critical warfighting functions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position requires strong quantitative skills, experience with large and complex datasets, and the ability to collaborate with analysts, engineers, and mission partners to develop high-impact solutions that drive intelligence insight and operational advantage</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform complex statistical analysis, modeling, and data mining to extract actionable insights from diverse intelligence datasets.</li>\n <li>Design, develop, and implement advanced data visualizations to support all aspects of JIOC intelligence operations.</li>\n <li>Build and validate statistical and predictive models to identify trends, patterns, and relationships across multi-INT sources.</li>\n <li>Develop and contribute to AI/ML algorithms, automation workflows, and intelligent systems that enhance mission effectiveness.</li>\n <li>Conduct exploratory data analysis across internal and external datasets to support analytic findings and operational planning.</li>\n <li>Create automated processes for data ingestion, conditioning, and integration to streamline intelligence production.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with intelligence analysts, data engineers, and computer scientists to improve data workflows and develop new analytical capabilities.</li>\n <li>Develop algorithms, scripts, and tools to automate manual processes and enhance analytic efficiency.</li>\n <li>Improve data quality, searchability, metadata structures, and predictive capabilities across intelligence repositories.</li>\n <li>Apply experimental design principles to test hypotheses and evaluate intelligence processes.</li>\n <li>Recommend improvements to data architectures, workflows, and analytic capabilities across the enterprise.</li>\n <li>Conduct system analyses to define technical requirements for new or enhanced intelligence databases and applications.</li>\n <li>Identify data redundancies, gaps, and inefficiencies and develop solutions to optimize integration and accessibility.</li>\n <li>Participate in intelligence planning conferences, capability development sessions, working groups, national-level coordination boards, and technical exchange meetings.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages, analytical frameworks, and machine learning libraries.</li>\n <li>Deep expertise in AI/ML, deep learning, and artificial intelligence applications.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of multi-INT fusion and large-scale intelligence analytics.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated success deploying predictive models in operational or mission environments.</li>\n <li>Experience developing custom analytical solutions for complex intelligence problems.</li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency with cloud platforms, distributed computing, and big data systems.</li>\n <li>Experience leading data science teams and mentoring junior professionals.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of intelligence enterprise requirements and mission priorities.</li>\n <li>Ability to translate complex analytical results into operational recommendations.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with DevOps and production deployment processes for analytic solutions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning, including experience supporting defense, intelligence, or operational missions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em> Bluehawk, LLC. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer/EOE Minority/Female/Disabled/Veteran/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity</em></p>",
