Our owners are proud Utahns.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong> Under the direction of the Shop Supervisor, the Sweeper Operator is responsible for cleaning the pavement prior, during and after paving to ensure proper quality and housekeeping.</p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p>• Visualize, fulfill, and implement the Clyde Companies Inc. (CCI) vision and core values within the Organization.</p>\n<p>• Responsible for operation and repair practices on sweepers.</p>\n<p>• Clean pavement prior to, during, and after paving to keep up with proper quality and housekeeping.</p>\n<p>• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication as needed.</p>\n<p>• Maintain and submit sweeping logs to necessary divisions/ agencies.</p>\n<p>• Maintain tools as required to do the job.</p>\n<p>• Maintain commercial driver's license (CDL) and Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card.</p>\n<p>•Maintain HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements and Federal Clearance.</p>\n<p>• Operate forklift.</p>\n<p>• Ensure a safe and healthful work environment at all times.</p>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Experience:</strong></p>\n<p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED).</p>\n<p><strong>Individual Development (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):</strong></p>\n<p>• Ability to follow instructions</p>\n<p>• Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electronics, and familiar with associated components</p>\n<p>• Knowledge of welding, cutting and fabrication</p>\n<p><strong>Training and Development:</strong></p>\n<p>• Develop knowledge of heavy equipment safety</p>\n<p>• New Employee Orientation</p>\n<p>• Customer Service</p>\n<p>• Brake Repair Training and Certification</p>\n<p>• Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA)</p>\n<p>• Complete Annual Operator Training</p>\n<p>• DOT Compliance Training</p>\n<p>• Defensive Driving</p>\n<p>• Forklift Certification</p>\n<p>• OPAC (Smoke School)</p>\n<p>*Physical Demands /Safety are dependent on location of position.
