ABOUT THE PROGRAM: We offer a 12-week paid internship program, beginning May 18 th , 2026 to August 6 th , 2026. Our Future Forward Intern will help gain experience and exposure to international markets and clients. They will play a crucial role in promoting luxury Caribbean destinations and knowledge in business services to succeed in an organization. The 28 weekly hours for the program are Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. JOB DESCRIPTION: Unique Vacations is seeking a motivated Business Intelligence Summer Associate to join our team. This internship provides an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment where you'll be instrumental in crafting digital assets to promote our all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean. JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Data Analysis & Reporting: Assist in gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources (e.g., guest feedback, booking trends, operational metrics). Create and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Ability to identify inconsistencies or errors in datasets. Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions. Ability to present complex data in a visually appealing and easy-to-understand format. Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data modeling. Database Management: Support the maintenance and optimization of databases to ensure data accuracy and accessibility. Assist in data cleansing and transformation processes. Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis and automation is a plus. Ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights to support business decisions. Collaboration & Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights. Support the BI team in ad-hoc analysis and special projects. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and reporting processes. Contribute to the development of best practices for data analysis and visualization. Ability to align data insights with business goals and strategies. Guest Experience Insights: Analyze guest feedback and behavior data to identify opportunities for enhancing the all-inclusive resort experience. Understanding of key business metrics and KPIs relevant to the hospitality industry (e.g., occupancy rates, guest satisfaction scores, revenue per available room). COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
