    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is looking for a Certified Nurse's Assistant<span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> </span></span>to join our Acute Care/Medical-Surgical Team!</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">The CNA assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse as well as has knowledge of age specific population and competencies defined by the department and utilizes this information in the overall care of the patients. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Major Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Demonstrates communication by clearly conveying information and ideas through appropriate mechanisms in a way that engages people and helps them understand and retain the message.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Demonstrates ability to communicate to the RN any observed changes in a patient’s status and responses. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Communicates appropriately and clearly to co-workers and Providers.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health errors.  Supports a culture of safety and quality. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Demonstrates work standards and accountability of conduct by setting high standards of performance for self and others; assumes responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks.       </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Assists in admission, transfer and discharge of a patient. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Performs waived testing (point-of-care testing) per Clinical Laboratory’s and the unit’s policies and procedures.  </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Performs patient care responsibilities considering needs specific to the standard of care for patient’s age.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Documents to current standards and policies. Completes this within the shift.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Accompanies patients on transports via ambulance, wheelchair or shuttle bus to Libby Care Center when necessary </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Demonstrates the safety standard of conduct by familiarizing him or herself with policies and procedures, practicing personal and patient safety consistently and reporting any and all safety hazards and/or violations.  </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Maintains and protects confidentiality regarding all aspects of patient care.  </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Adheres to Cabinet Peaks Medical Center confidentiality policies and procedures.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Skills, Knowledge, &amp; Abilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Basic computer knowledge.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Knowledge of medical terminology.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must be self directed, able to complete outlined tasks without needing to be prompted.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Education Requirements</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">High School graduate or equivalent.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Current MT CNA license.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">BLS certification preferred; must obtain within 3 months of hire.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Experience</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">6 months to 1 year of related work experience preferred, not required.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Schedule</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Shifts/hours may vary and should be confirmed with the Acute Care Manager.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Will include nights, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Benefits Package Available.</span></p>\n<p><span>Full-time benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, long-term disability (LTD), and life &amp; accidental death and dismemberment (AD&amp;D) insurance for you and your eligible family members, plus a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><em><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is committed to providing a safe, efficient, and productive work environment for all employees.
