    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The opportunity<em><span> </span></em></span> <br><br></p>\n<p>As a Financial Planning Technician (Paraplanner), you will provide recommendations, financial analysis, technical and research support to the Financial Planners to deliver excellent client service and outcomes. You will act as a point of contact for clients and deal effectively with their queries, as well as preparing client files for review meetings and occasionally, if necessary, attending review meetings with Financial Planners.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You will be passionate about client care and dedicated to excellence, with an appetite for learning and personal growth and a willingness to support and champion others. We operate hybrid working enabling home and office working, allowing you to balance your personal responsibilities/interests and connecting with your colleagues.  </span><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will be doing   </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>As a Financial Planning Technician, you will complete all paraplanning tasks together with responsibility for -  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Research and analysis:</span> conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify suitable solutions. Perform and present cashflow modelling scenarios to clients as required. </li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical work:</span> prepare suitability letters and reports for annual reviews and new business, prepare tax calculations and financial plans for clients. </li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Liaising with providers:</span> speak to external companies to obtain information about existing and potential investments.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Client requirements:</span> determine client objectives and priorities, together with understanding client attitudes to risk and capacity for loss. </li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Managing documentation:</span> prepare client files for review meetings and maintain these compliantly throughout the client advice journey. </li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compliance and regulation:</span> Working with honesty and integrity, you will be disciplined in following the principles and rules of the FCA, demonstrating adherence to relevant regulations, rules and procedures that apply to your role and conduct of the business. </li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Supporting the team:</span> share expertise and best practice with others and assist them with complex client matters.
