    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\"><strong>Position Type:</strong> Year-Round, Full-Time<br><strong>Hours of Work:</strong> </span><span style=\"font-family: MyriadPro; font-size: 8pt\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">Monday to Friday and evenings and/or weekends, as required</span><br></span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\"><strong>Location: </strong>Orono, Ontario<br><strong>Reporting to: </strong>Outdoor Operations Manager<br><strong>Start Date:</strong> Immediate<br></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">Brimacombe ski area is currently seeking a skilled Licensed Lift Mechanic for our fast-paced alpine ski and snowboard facility. </span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">This year-round, full-time position reports to the Outdoor Operations Manager and is responsible for maintaining on site lifts, as well as various resort equipment and machinery.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #353535; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">To perform all duties assigned by Outdoor Operations Manager</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">Ensure all lifts are maintained to CSA Z-98 code and manufacturer’s recommendations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #353535; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">Assist in emergency situations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #353535; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">Report and rectify any unsafe situations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #353535; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">Keep a clean, organized and safe work environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">Use courtesy and respect when dealing with management, staff, co-workers, and guests at all times</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">SLM-B or SLM-A with ski industry experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">Good communications skills, self-motivated, mature, dependable, timely and able to work well with others</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">Willing and able to work in all weather conditions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">Ability to work at excessive heights</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">Valid Driver’s License</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">Ability to operate snowmobiles, ATVs and 4x4 trucks in a safe and responsible manner</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">Operator’s certificates for associated industrial equipment an asset</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">Good working knowledge of current WCB regulations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">Required tools</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px\">Candidates must be willing to work from both outside and in office as required and be flexible with hours and times. Candidates must be willing to work all shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
