    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The position of a Well Optimization Technician optimizes oil/gas well production by troubleshooting artificial lift (ESP, rod pumps, gas lift), analyzing real-time data (SCADA), performing field maintenance, ensuring safety (JSA, LOTO), and collaborating with engineers to implement solutions like adjusting pump controllers or recommending well workovers, focusing on maximizing efficiency and minimizing downtime across the well's lifecycle. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Optimizing artificial lift performance by studying well performance, shooting fluid levels, performing dynamometer surveys, respacing wells, managing pump-off controllers, and working with engineering and operations personnel.</li>\n <li>Recognizing inefficient pumping performance, analyzing problems, recommending, and implementing solutions.</li>\n <li>Responsible for maintaining mobile inventory</li>\n <li>Complete Job Safety Analysis reports and provide notification of safety and technical issues</li>\n <li>Comply with all Company policies, procedures and safety requirements including the instructions and directions from individuals in supervisory positions.</li>\n <li>Complete administrative duties such as well test and billing reports</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years Well Optimization experience required. </li>\n <li>Strong understanding of artificial lift systems (ESP, rod lift, gas lift, etc.).</li>\n <li>Proficiency with SCADA systems, data analysis, and instrumentation.</li>\n <li>Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of well integrity, downhole pressure surveys, and production analysis.</li>\n <li>Commitment to safety protocols (JSA, LOTO).</li>\n <li>Good communication and teamwork abilities. </li>\n <li>Must live within 70 miles of Dilley, TX.</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED required.  </li>\n <li>Valid US Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record. </li>\n <li>Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, MVR, agility and fit for duty.</li>\n <li>Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending stooping is required.</li>\n <li>Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.</li>\n <li>Understanding of importance of environmental and safe work practices </li>\n</ul>",
