If you have experience working in a CPA firm - this maybe the job for you.</span></p><p>Bullet Points</p><ul><li>Director level CPA firm experience</li><li>7 years of not-for-profit tax experience</li><li>Experience with 1065, 1120, 1120S and state filings</li></ul><p>Full Job Description </p><p>Midtown mid-sized CPA firm with heavy specialization in not-for-profit clients seeks Tax Director. This is a partnership Track Opportunity.</p><p><strong><b>Responsibilities:</b></strong></p><p>• Direct all aspects of the firm’s not-for-profit tax practice<br />• Review 990’s 990PF, 990-T, and 5500, as well as applicable state filings<br />• Review of Forms 1065, 1120, 1120S and state filings for a fast growing for-profit client base.<br />• Review 5500’s<span> </span><br />• Make presentations to clients<br />• Perform tax research</p><p><strong><b>Qualifications:</b></strong><br />• CPA or JD<br />• Management experience in a CPA firm<span> </span><br />• 7+ years experience<span> </span><br />• Compliance experience with non-profit organizations<br />• Hands on experience with review and preparation of Form 990, Form 990-PF and state charitable registrations.<span> </span><br />• Experience with Forms 1065, 1120, 1120S and state filings<span> </span><br />• Knowledge of unrelated business tax, private inurement/benefit and other tax-exempt/non-profit organization issues preferred.</p>",
