Ensures that work areas and examination rooms are adequately stocked with equipment and supplies and are properly cleaned and disinfected such that a safe and reliable atmosphere for quality patient care may be provided.<br>e. QA and verifies all work performed on the radiology computer system in an effort toward ensuring that patients are transported to and from the department in a timely and courteous manner and that procedures are performed as indicated.<br>f. Observes and adheres to federal and state radiation safety guidelines and departmental and hospital policies and procedures pertinent to area of responsibility.</p><p><br>3. Collaboration and Partnership<br>a. Performs the duties of a Radiology Transporter as needed to meet the needs of the patient and department.<br>b. Participates in educational programs, in-service meetings, and training sessions in an effort to share his/her own expertise with others and further the quality of education and personal growth provided to new personnel, volunteers, and interning students.<br>c. Contributes to student education and supervision and maintains knowledge of competency based clinical education plans in an effort toward supporting continuing education efforts.</p><p><br>4.
