Description

Job Description KSI Auto Parts is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Transfer Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering auto parts to warehouse and shipping centers in a timely, efficient, and safe manner. They will also assist in properly sorting, staging pallets, loading and unloading the truck to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of the parts. The touch-freight driver will also sort auto parts at our Orlando location drive non-CDL and CDL trucks, and work additional hours based on traffic, delays, etc. Responsibilities: Safely operate a Tractor Trailer to transport auto parts to warehouse and shipping centers; monitored via in-cab cameras. Assist in properly loading/unloading truck. Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely delivery of goods. Verify that the load is properly secured and balanced before transportation. Assist in the loading and unloading of the truck. Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor. Communicate effectively with the dispatch team to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise. Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving. Maintain a clean and organized truck. Sit, Stand, walk, and/or lift for long periods of time. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with established company policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned as business needs change. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old with a valid class A driver's license. Prior experience driving a Tractor Trailer or similar commercial vehicle. Possess a valid medical DOT card. Able to reach, bend, lift, pull and push up to 50lbs Strong attention to detail and ability to follow delivery schedules and routes. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with the dispatch team. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed. Familiarity with auto parts and repair industry is a plus.
