The<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Logistics Specialist<span> </span></span>(Domestic) will be responsible for important logistics and customer service tasks and will be the primary point of contact for multiple accounts for our Eagle Logistics <br>Systems division. You will be exposed to our talented workforce and diverse company culture while having the opportunity to make an impact on our business!<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Your Day-to-Day:</span><br>• Provide exceptional customer service while building relationships with new <br>and existing customers.<br>• Manage all inquiries and request within a timely manner.<br>• Administer and create files with all booking necessary information (Purchase <br>Order, Booking, Container Size, Temperature, Sail Date, etc).<br>• Organize booking requests with steamship lines through different means of <br>communication.<br>• Manage and maintain all inventory onsite by planning, verifying <br>appointments and providing visibility to customer.<br>• Send customer a daily on hand inventory report and appointment schedule.<br>• Ensure customer is up to date on all product discrepancies received <br>(damage, shortage, and overage).<br>• Prepare all loading plans based on customer’s instructions and approved <br>weight and/or cubes.<br>• Provide solutions and recommendations on loading customer freight.<br>• Supply manifest with final loading information to customer.<br>• Submit bill of ladings to steamship line according to commodity.<br>• Confirm sailings and update the system with accurate information. Notify the <br>customer if sailing dates are different than originally planned.<br>• Facilitate service failure investigation/complaint and ensure corrective and <br>preventive actions are in place.<br>• Assist all claim processes within a timely manner.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Tools For Success :</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Traits &amp; Skills</span><br>To be considered candidates must have:<br>• Strong attention to detail to accomplish tasks thoroughly and accurately.<br>• Effective customer service skill set. <br>• Ability to independently plan, organize and prioritize effectively.<br>• Must be able to meet deadlines easily.<br>• Clear verbal and written communication skills.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education &amp; Experience:</span><br>• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.<br>• 2 to 5 years of previous logistics, ocean freight, or customer service <br>experience is required.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Language:</span><br>• Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write in English fluently</p>",
