In this </span><span>role,</span><span> you will ensure that all drill programs are executed in a safe, environmentally responsible, and cost-effective manner. This position is essent</span><span>ial to support the Exploration and Development teams by providing technical </span><span>expertise</span><span> in core shed, earthwork, and drilling activities.</span></span></p>\n<p><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Responsibilities</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Check drilling operations and status daily </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Provide drilling update daily </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Review and approve invoices daily </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Plan drill hole execution </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Provide technical </span><span>expertise</span><span> when trouble shooting drilling issues to ensure drill hole is completed to planned depth </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Manage drill activities related to earthwork, sample pick up and </span><span>logistics</span><span>  </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Anticipate and mitigate safety and environmental issues </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Schedule core/RC sample pick up</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Maintain compliance with various government agencies and stakeholders with respect to licenses and permits.  </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Build pad and roads to </span><span>permit</span><span> specifications </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Survey disturbance and prepare reports </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Advise the geologists on exploration activities, both in the field and office/core shed </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Organize and lead the bid process for drilling and support contracts </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Negotiate and set up contracts</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Manage contractors, ensuring compliance with written and verbal agreements </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Line out daily tasks for drill services employees</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Monitor performance and provide feedback to drill services employees</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ensure work is performed in a safe and efficient manner</span></span><span> <br></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Qualifications</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>A minimum of 5 years of Drill Services </span><span>or drilling </span><span>experience </span><span>required</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience </span><span>required</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ability to use a GPS, understand azimuth and inclination, and set up drill rigs and plan drill pads.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate level or higher). </span></span><span><span>Knowledge of GIS software </span><span>is preferred</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ability to plan and organize work, prioritize, </span><span>make complex </span><span>decisions</span><span>,</span><span> </span><span>and lead others.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>A minimum of 21 </span><span>year</span><span>s</span><span> of age with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Legally authorized to work in the United States.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><br></span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Physical Requirements</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ability to </span><span>lift up</span><span> to </span><span>50</span><span> pounds, </span><span>sit, stand, </span><span>bend, twist, </span><span>climb stairs, walk over uneven ground for long distances, and withstand extreme hot and cold temperatures.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Manual dexterity to use desktop computers and peripherals.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ability to drive extended distances over paved and </span><span>dirt</span><span> roads.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ability to see and hear warning signs and signals and work around heavy equipment.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>",
