Requires thorough knowledge and understanding of Regulatory, Departmental, and Hospital policies and procedures pertaining to nutritional care, including nutrition screening, assessment, and reassessment; food-drug interactions; enteral and parenteral nutrition support; patient education; and documentation. Must demonstrate competence in assessing the nutritional requirements of patients across the life-cycle, including: neonatal (birth -1 year), pediatric (1-11 years), adolescent (12-17 years), adult (18-65 years), geriatric (65 and over), and pregnant / lactating patients.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>Education:</b></p>\n<p>Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics is required.</p>\n<p>Master’s degree is required for those who became registered after 2023.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>Experience:</b></p>\n<p>One year of experience in dietetics and acute care is preferred.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>Certification/Licensure:</b></p>\n<p>Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration to be obtained within six months.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Other Qualifications</p>\n<p>A Registered Dietitian will oversee Registered Dietitian (RD) Eligible individuals by reviewing and signing off on their notes daily.
