They provide an experience which is fun, engaging and culturally enriching for students. They supervise the students outside the classroom, overseeing their welfare, safety, and discipline at all times.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Activity Leaders work on a part-time basis, up to 37.5 hours per week during the Summer Camp period (6 weeks). Activity Leaders must commute to and from the program location and are paid an hourly rate.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Schedule and Timeline</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">The Activity Leader role is a full-time, fixed-term position. Due to the nature of the work, your hours may vary and may be irregular.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">The schedule, timeline and hourly requirements are as follows:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Part-time to Full-time hours on-site at ILSC Vancouver will begin on June 29, 2026, until August 8, 2026.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Pre-program staff training will take place on June 25, 2026 and June 26,2026 at the ILSC Vancouver campus.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Job Duties: </span></span><span> </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><span>The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:</span><span> </span><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Greet students at airport upon their arrival and connect them with the driver assigned to bring them to their homestay  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Assist the Junior Program Manager and Activity Coordinator with the Student Orientation on the morning of the first day of the program each week (typically Mondays) at the ILSC Vancouver campus, by leading initial ‘getting to know you’ activities, as well as assisting students with public</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">transit cards and SIM cards, and any other orientation tasks, as directed by the Program Manager and Activity Coordinator </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Attend daily staff meetings for to review the day’s activities and to plan for the following day </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Supervise students during assigned activities and groups during excursions </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Ensure the health and safety, welfare, and discipline of students, by being attentive to incidents of discrimination, bullying, or conflict between students and alerting the Junior Camp management staff-the Centre Director, Activity Coordinator, or Academic Manager of any issues </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Complete student attendance reports as required and advise the Junior Camp management team of any absences or lateness or behavioral issues </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Assist the Activity Coordinator, and on occasion, the agents and accreditation inspectors, in the observation and evaluation of activities </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Attend daily staff meetings to review the day’s activities and to plan for the following day  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><span>Other duties as assigned</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes: </span></span><span> </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Essential</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Experience working with teenagers in a camp or extra-curricular activity environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Background in winter sports, and social media</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Enthusiasm, energy, and motivational skills</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);
