Located between Austin and San Antonio, our 212-bed, seclusion-free campus provides a healing environment within a 65-acre therapeutic setting.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><u>Facility Highlights:</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Capacity: 212 beds with 13 specialized living units.</li>\n <li>Seclusion-free environment.</li>\n <li>Average length of stay: 4-12 months.</li>\n <li>Comprehensive amenities: swimming pools, gymnasiums, sports courts, ROPES course, Healing Trail, and more.</li>\n <li>On-site education provided by Ki Charter Academy.</li>\n <li>Dynamic, supportive medical team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><u>Position Details:</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Type: Full-time with a flexible 4-day schedule.</li>\n <li>Typical caseload: Up to 3 units or 45 patients weekly.</li>\n <li>Setting: Residential treatment for children and adolescents.</li>\n <li>Frequency: Most patients are seen once per week.</li>\n <li>Employment options: Independent Contractor (1099) or Employed (W-2)</li>\n <li>W-2 Benefits: PTO, 401(k) match, malpractice insurance, CME package, disability coverage, and more.</li>\n <li>Minimal, phone-only weekend call coverage.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><u>Requirements:</u></p>\n<li>MD/DO from an accredited program</li>\n<li>Board Certification: BC ABPN Child & Adolescent Psychiatry required.</li>\n<li>License: Texas medical license in good standing.</li>\n<li>Meets all credentialing criteria.</li>\n<p><strong>San Marcos Treatment Center</strong> is a wholy-owned subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc.
