You actively assist with standard operating procedures, hazard assessments, safety programs, and environmental protection, while maintaining regular communication with customers. Given the high level of customer interaction, strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional service are essential.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is based at our <strong>Judy Creek facility,</strong> approximately 60 km northeast of Whitecourt, AB.</p>\n<h2>The Team</h2>The team at our Judy Creek Facility takes pride in working safely, supporting one another, and providing reliable service to our customers. Team members work together in a fast-paced environment and are committed to living SECURE's values every day.\n<h2>Work Environment</h2>\n<p>This position follows an 8 days on / 6 days off schedule and consists of 12-hour day shifts.</p>\n<h2>A Day in The Life</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operations of the facility</li>\n <li>Responsible for truck unloading, oil emulsion and water & vac trucks</li>\n <li>Perform oil treating activities using treaters, coolers, and tank treating systems.</li>\n <li>Participating in waste processing, waste and mud tank operation, shaker & centrifuge operations and solids treating</li>\n <li>Responsible and accountable for the receipt, terminal storage and transportation of crude oil while adhering to Measurement & Crude Oil Quality compliance</li>\n <li>Managing ongoing water injection, filter changing and pump maintenance</li>\n <li>Conducting treatment of solids on the waste pad</li>\n <li>Conducting boiler operations, testing and steam system operations</li>\n <li>Ensuring that all corporate compliance programs are adhered to</li>\n <li>Submitting truck tickets summary, daily plant checklists, and balance and transfers to the office</li>\n <li>Participates in the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS)</li>\n <li>Waste plant operation (ensuring solids processing is meeting or exceeding landfill criteria and solids testing)</li>\n <li>Following water injection SOP’s and best practices to protect the disposal well integrity</li>\n <li>General maintenance, ensure that the plant is kept clean and safe</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience & Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A High School Diploma, General Education Diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Experience in waste processing, oil treating, and water injection an considered an asset</li>\n <li>Training in boilers, pumps (all), repairs, shaker/centrifuge and loader is considered an asset</li>\n <li>Current and valid safety tickets, including H2S Alive, First Aid Level One C, Confined Space Entry, WHMIS and TDG</li>\n <li>A strong attention to detail, communication skills with the ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environment</li>\n <li>Must be able to document their work, perform and manage cross shift communication and ensure clear communication with the rest of the team</li>\n <li>Must be able to multi-task and demonstrate excellent decision-making skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues</li>\n <li>Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and safe work practices</li>\n <li>A valid and acceptable Driver’s license and successful completion of Pre-employment testing</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail</li>\n <li>Be able to manage multiple priorities and have good time management skills</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What's in it for you</h2>\n<p>At SECURE, we focus on opportunities for growth and improvement; for our employees, our customers, our partners, and the communities we operate in.
