    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that aluminum and stainless-steel railing components meet company quality standards and customer specifications. In this role, you will perform inspections throughout the fabrication process, including incoming materials, in-process production, and final product verification. The Quality Control Specialist works closely with manufacturing personnel to maintain quality standards, identify non-conformances, and support continuous improvement within plant operations. All employees are expected to uphold the Dant Clayton values and all company policies as outlined in the Dant Clayton Employee Handbook.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>&nbsp;Models the values and beliefs of the company, respects the individual always, communicates openly and directly with team members in all positions &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Understands and accepts that an accident-free environment is not only possible but will be accomplished at Dant Clayton through strict adherence to all safety protocols and standards&nbsp;</li><li>Verify incoming purchased components meet required specifications and are free of defects&nbsp;</li><li>Perform dimensional and visual inspections during fabrication, layout, and welding operations to ensure compliance with shop drawings and tolerances&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct final inspection of completed railing assemblies to verify dimensions, weld quality, finish quality, and overall workmanship prior to shipment&nbsp;</li><li>Review shop drawings to confirm components are fabricated correctly, including hole locations, angles, lengths, and assembly configuration&nbsp;</li><li>Utilize inspection tools, including tape measures, calipers, squares, angle gauges, and other measuring instruments, to verify product accuracy&nbsp;</li><li>Record inspection results and maintain quality records in accordance with company procedures&nbsp;</li><li>Work with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of defects and recommend improvements to fabrication processes&nbsp;</li><li>Inspect finished railing assemblies prior to packaging and shipment to confirm proper fabrication, finish quality, hardware completeness, and compliance with customer specifications&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory through routine cycle counts of raw materials, hardware, and fabricated components &bull; Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and communicate findings to management to support inventory accuracy and production planning&nbsp;</li><li>All other duties as assigned&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, welding, or quality inspection preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, dimensions, and fabrication details is highly preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience performing dimensional inspections and identifying manufacturing defects.</li><li>Familiarity with aluminum and stainless-steel fabrication processes, such as cutting, drilling, welding, and finishing, is preferred.</li><li>Experience using measuring equipment such as calipers, tape measures, squares, and angle measuring tools.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify deviations from specifications.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to communicate quality concerns clearly and professionally with production team members.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and commitment to maintaining quality standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong understanding of and adherence to safety protocols within a manufacturing environment.&nbsp;</li><li>High School Diploma or GED required.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, lifting, bending, and walking.&nbsp;</li><li>Capability to lift up to 50 pounds&nbsp;</li><li>Requires working in a Manufacturing setting with exposure to changing temperatures, metal dust/particles, and machine noise levels.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Will Lead Team Members:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>No &nbsp;</li></ul><p>Employees may, from time to time, be asked to perform reasonable duties outside of their primary job responsibilities.
