          "text": "<p>At EDMO, staff members spend their time connecting with kids, honing leadership skills and making a real impact - all while rocking wacky costumes and getting pied in the face! Our positions offer a unique opportunity to help kids uncover hidden talents, while pursuing your own personal and professional goals and passions.&#xa0;</p><p>The Site Director is responsible for overseeing all things pertaining to their assigned comprehensive after school program. From pre-season training, to in-season program management, staff coaching and student and parent interactions, they manage every aspect of day to day operations. The program rotations are snack, outside play, an hour of homework help, and an hour of a STEAM activity.</p><p><strong>Main duties include:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Participating in any program training, professional development, or in season meetings</p></li><li><p>Managing all aspects of daily operations for your site</p></li><li><p>Training, and managing a team Instructors</p></li><li><p>Managing host location relationships and specifications</p></li><li><p>Providing high caliber customer service by anticipating and addressing any kid, staff or parent challenges and/or concerns</p></li><li><p>Communicating with parents as needed, to make sure they are up to date on what their kids are experiencing at your program</p></li><li><p>Ensuring all staff, children, and parents are safe and have a positive experience in our program - this includes diligently following all EDMO Covid-19 guidelines and restrictions</p></li><li><p>Setting up and packing up your program, making sure that all needed materials are received and that anything necessary is returned at the program’s closure</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Exhibiting the EDMO Vibe and demonstrating through actions and words each of the social emotional learning (SEL) skills of empathy, responsibility, initiative, collaboration, problem solving and emotion management, while also reinforcing these qualities in staff and kids</p></li></ul><p><em>Reports to: Region Manager</em></p><p><em>Manages: Instructors</em></p>",

Please still apply if you are enthusiastic about this work and think you would be a strong fit.</p><p>Preferred qualifications are:</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's Degree in education or a related course of study&#xa0;&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Experience working with youth of all ages&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Past involvement/experience in an after school environment as staff (or as a student!)</p></li><li><p>Experience hiring and managing a team of employees</p></li><li><p>Experience (and a love for!) working with kids</p></li><li><p>High sense of responsibility and dependability&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Experience talking and interacting with parents</p></li><li><p>Skilled in problem solving, multi tasking, creativity and flexibility&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Experience facilitating groups of children and/or working youth programs with proven classroom management</p></li><li><p>A large supply of costumes and/or a plethora of skits and songs in your back pocket is a PLUS!</p></li><li><p>Willingness to wear a mask&#xa0;and be meticulous about diligently following all EDMO Covid-19 guidelines and restrictions as it pertains to matters of safety</p></li></ul><p><em>CPR/First Aid Certification is required by the full time start date. Certification must include an in-person CPR component.
