Emerald Youth has engaged more than 30,000 children and young adults in a variety of community programs over nearly three decades. Communicate with workshop leaders to help prepare them for their presentations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Know students and their families to help maintain participation levels in programs.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Work with the Calling and Career Ministry Director and Program Development team to ensure highest quality offerings are made available to students. Assist with the planning, scheduling, and confirmation of center offerings.  Help identify needed curriculum and to ensure compliance with Emerald Youth outcomes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Operate technology and prepare and implement learning materials as needed for the program. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Ensure snacks are purchased, prepped and provided to students during programs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Ensure facility is clean, organized, and well maintained.  Be responsible for opening and closing building.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Identify constraints or leakage related to the Calling and Career Center that could keep youth from being comprehensively engaged or meeting academic outcomes. Seek solutions working collaboratively with supervisor to attempt and resolve issues so students can move forward in programs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Recruit, train, and supervise additional volunteers to adequately staff Ministry Center. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Oversee crisis situations and communicate with student and/or family as needed, proving support and guidance.  Coordinate with supervisor in case of such an event.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Track, review and provide needed data and/or report achieved outcomes and measurements related to the Calling and Career Ministry Center.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Oversee safety at site, ensuring all team members comply with organizational safety standards, including but not limited to behavior and discipline, child ratios, transportation, CPR, and first aid as applies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Maintain program budget.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Maintain a current CDL and drive large vehicles/buses as needed or help coordinate transportation as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Deliver effective and timely communication and ensure staff does the same.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Manage additional projects and tasks as assigned and participate with any assigned groups or committees.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Dedicated Christian with clear knowledge of the Gospel and a passion for the mission of Emerald Youth Foundation; connected to a church community; possesses a strong reputation for honesty, integrity, and high moral standards. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"> Education, counseling or related bachelor’s degree.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Ideally 3-5 years’ experience in counseling or youth programs coordination.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">At least 21 years of age with clear driving record with willingness to drive a 15-passenger van</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Must obtain certification in designated Calling &amp; Career assessment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Proficient in Microsoft Office software.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Able to supervise and motivate team.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Attention to detail.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Willingness to work extended hours.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative setting.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Bilingual English/Spanish a plus</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">*Comprehensive engagement = target youth engaged in faith, learning, and health activities</span></p>",
