It is more than a job; it is an opportunity to provide invaluable support, led by the people you will be supporting.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities may Include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working closely with our service user to provide support as they go about their daily tasks</li>\n<li>Assisting with personal cares (showering, bathing)</li>\n<li>Assisting with household management and meal preparation</li>\n<li>Supporting exercise programmes</li>\n<li>Assisting with accessing the community</li>\n<li>Bowel, Bladder, and Catheter cares</li>\n<li>Moving and handling hoists and manual transfers</li>\n<li>Medication support</li>\n<li>Ensuring the service user's comfort, safety, and well-being at all time</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Location – Oxford (Waimakariri, Canterbury) – The service user is located in the rural Oxford area and is approximately a 1-hour drive from Christchurch.  </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Employment Type: Part Time (Up to 29 Hours)</span></p>\n<p>We offer a range of employment opportunities including casual, part-time, and full-time positions, which will be discussed further during the recruitment process.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Days of Work:<span> </span></span>As this is community-based work, rotating rosters would be involved including AM, PM, and weekend work. Your preferred hours of work can be discussed during the recruitment process.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>We are looking for reliable and dedicated support workers who would be comfortable covering</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span> </span>morning shifts from 7 am to 3 pm and night shifts,<span> </span></span><span>which would include<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> sleepover</span></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> shifts</span><span> and weekend work. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The duration of these hours may vary, ranging from shorter to longer periods, depending on the specific needs of the people we support.</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About you | He momo</span></p>\n<p>You are a calm but confident natured individual who can demonstrate resilience and understand the challenges of our service users. There are many responsibilities associated with being a support worker which can be challenging and fulfilling.
