The successful candidate will coordinate port operations, liaise with stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver timely, cost‑effective services to clients. <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Contract: Permanent</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Location: Walvis Bay, Namibia</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em>In line with company policy, Inchcape does not provide visa sponsorship for candidates and cannot consider applicants who will require this now or in the future. </em></span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attending to customs, port and immigration formalities on behalf of the vessel.</li>\n<li>Keeping principals and suppliers updated on the progress of the vessel.</li>\n<li>Formulate estimated disbursements and finalising the disbursement after the departure of vessels.</li>\n<li>Manage vessel husbandry: crew changes, medical assistance, spare parts, and provisioning.</li>\n<li>Ensuring a smooth turnaround of vessels and reporting on cargo operations.</li>\n<li>Assisting with following up on invoices from suppliers and service providers.</li>\n<li>Ensuring all relevant requirements are met such as ISPS clearance and Free Pratique.</li>\n<li>Comply with ISO Standards and certification.</li>\n<li>Comply with local and international maritime regulations and port safety protocols.</li>\n<li>Working outside regular hours to accommodate the schedules of vessels arriving at the port.</li>\n<li>Maintain relationships with port authorities, terminal operators, service providers and vendors.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Who You Are:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant experience of port operations, shipping documentation, customs and ISPS requirements.</li>\n<li>Strong commercial awareness, negotiation and cost-control skills.</li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication; customer-service oriented. Local language + English fluency required.
