Our mission is to deliver the highest quality professional services while prioritizing our employees’ well-being and fostering an exceptional workplace environment. </p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>What You Will Do</strong> </p>\n<p>As a Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for the corporate office as well as some designated remote offices, projects, safety contacts, and development, and will work daily with the Corporate ES&H Supervisor and our subsequent compliance, and training members. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>A Typical Day at Prime Controls</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Review, summarize, and present Behavioral Based Safety Program (BBSP) reports, audits, incidents, toolboxes, and job permits to supervisory team.   </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Generate toolbox topics based on the BBSP reports mentioned above, as scheduled, or as required due to site protocols.    </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Generate and/or review purchase orders and vendors for safety equipment, service, and training.   </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Cover any other deemed work scope team opportunities. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What You Will Bring</strong> </p>\n<p><strong><em>The Basic</em></strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>One of the following but not limited to: </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>CHST, OHST, STS, CSP, ASP, designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals or  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Two or four-year degree in the ES&H-related field. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Three to five years of experience in industrial, electrical, and safety construction. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>The Preferred</em></strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Preferred to be bilingual in both English and Spanish, reading, writing, and speaking. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Proven work experience in a logistics, or similar role. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools, and databases.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with e-learning platforms. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Competent computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and databases. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong communication skills. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to pass a seven-year background check. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Exhibit integrity, flexibility, initiative, and adherence to company policies and programs always.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Clear and concise communication, both written and oral.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to effectively work within all levels or divisions on-site, in meetings, and within Prime Controls. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong>What We Offer:</strong> </p>\n<p>Full-time employees enjoy a great benefits package including, but not limited to: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Health, Dental, and Vision coverage </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Flexible Spending Account(s) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Generous PTO </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Numerous culture events </li>\n <li>ESOP</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>401k matching and more! </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Work Environment & Physical Demands (Text Only)</h2>Physical requirements and work environment expectations vary by position.
