    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>RoviSys is seeking a skilled <strong>Lead</strong> <strong>Robotics and Controls Engineer</strong> to design and develop automated control systems in the industrial manufacturing market.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>PLC and Robotics Programming:</strong> Design, develop, and commission PLC and robots to ensure optimal performance.</li>\n <li><strong>System Testing and Validation:</strong> Conduct testing to ensure control systems meet design.</li>\n <li><strong>Installation and Commissioning:</strong> Lead the installation and commissioning of systems at the customer’s facility.</li>\n <li><strong>Leadership and Training:</strong> Lead, train, and mentor team members in controls and robotics technologies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proven experience in control systems design and development for industrial manufacturing systems.</li>\n <li>Expertise in Robotics, with a focus on FANUC, Epson, ABB, and/or KUKA.</li>\n <li>Expertise in PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, and/or Mitsubishi).</li>\n <li>Experience developing robotic cells from scratch including robot selection, offline programming / simulation, and in-person startup.</li>\n <li>Interfacing with conveyance, robotics pick and place, material handling, end of arm tool.</li>\n <li>Expertise in architecting, designing, and developing Ignition solutions.</li>\n <li>Ability to train and lead others within robotics and controls engineering.</li>\n <li>Communication and collaborative skills\n  <ul>\n   <li>Ability to communicate clearly with clients to understand requirements</li>\n   <li>Interface directly with clients, vendors, and internal resources to drive engineering designs from concept through build and installation.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience developing vision applications (Keyence / Cognex).</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Digital Twins (Process Simulate, Emulate3D, etc.).</li>\n <li>Experience conducting PFMEAs or equivalent risk assessments.</li>\n <li>Experience with non-robotic servo motion control.</li>\n <li>Experience with at least one advanced robotic technology: Vision guidance, force guidance, line tracking, etc.</li>\n <li>Experience with AMR and AGV programming.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of electrical functional safety systems for robotics and motion control (Category / performance level, etc.).</li>\n <li>Leadership experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronics.
