This leader will operate with urgency, embrace innovation, and align local execution with Sinclair’s content strategy and standards.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and develop a high-performing content center across two network affiliates, including broadcast, digital, and social teams</li>\n <li>Set and execute a clear editorial strategy aligned with Sinclair’s strategies for accountability, enterprise reporting, and community impact</li>\n <li>Oversee a content center producing more than 60 hours of linear TV weekly, ensuring consistency, quality, and brand alignment</li>\n <li>Maintain editorial oversight of social, digital, and linear newscasts, providing clear feedback and enforcing strong storytelling standards</li>\n <li>Drive multiplatform content growth, innovation, and audience engagement across broadcast, digital, and social platforms</li>\n <li>Champion enterprise, investigative, and solutions-oriented journalism that differentiates Sinclair stations in the market</li>\n <li>Foster a newsroom culture built on accountability, collaboration, urgency, and high expectations</li>\n <li>Use audience data, analytics, and community insights to inform editorial decisions and content strategy</li>\n <li>Collaborate closely with Senior VP of News and Sinclair corporate partners to align content center priorities and performance</li>\n <li>Recruit, hire, develop, and retain top content center talent; manage contracts and succession planning</li>\n <li>Manage content center budgets, including operational and capital expenditures, with a strong focus on efficiency and results</li>\n <li>Set clear goals, measure performance, and hold teams accountable to outcomes</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A proven leader with experience managing large teams in a competitive station/multi-platform environment</li>\n <li>Demonstrated success overseeing content creation across all platforms</li>\n <li>Strong editorial judgment and a consistent commitment to journalistic integrity, accuracy, and fairness</li>\n <li>Hands-on multi-platform experience leading broadcast, digital, and social news operations</li>\n <li>A leader who drives performance through clarity, accountability, and decisive action</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of journalistic ethics, libel, and privacy laws</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related field required</li>\n <li>Minimum of five years of newsroom leadership experience with a track record of success</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why This Role Matters</strong></p>\n<p>At Sinclair, local journalism matters.
