Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing downed equipment and makes recommendations to engineering staff for establishment and implementation of periodic equipment maintenance.  Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment, making recommendations to engineering staff for improved equipment performance. Makes recommendations to and performs equipment modifications in support supervisors, managers and engineers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>SKILL:</strong> As a highly skilled specialist, contributes to the development of concepts and techniques. Completes complex tasks in creative and effective ways.               </li>\n <li><strong>JOB COMPLEXITY:</strong> Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. Makes recommendations for new procedures.</li>\n <li><strong>SUPERVISION:</strong> Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Employees will ensure that waste containers are closed after transferring waste to them.
