          "text": "<p>A successful candidate will become part of the Universal Studios Hollywood Finance team, primarily supporting the Parking operation, including revenue, labor, and expense management while periodically supporting our Operations Finance team. This role will participate in all financial aspects, owning the day-to-day expense management, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting responsibilities. A successful candidate will become a valuable resource supporting business partners with guidance, reporting, and analysis to deliver on key business unit objectives.</p><p>This role provides exposure to finance and operations leadership teams with opportunities to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies, driving value within finance and the business unit.</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p><p><em>Financial Reporting, Budget Preparation and Analysis:</em></p><ul><li>Maintain the operating budgets and forecasts for Parking</li><li>Track weekly/monthly spend against budget and partner with management to understand trends</li><li>Prepare weekly/monthly performance packages for senior leadership, addressing budget variances, cash position, and status of current projects</li><li>Assist in preparing the annual operating plan, monthly forecasts, and latest estimates</li><li>Assist in preparing month-end pacing forecast for FP&amp;A and month-end reporting for management</li><li>Perform monthly financial close duties including posting journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations</li></ul><p><em>Support Business Partners:</em></p><ul><li>Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis for operators and finance</li><li>Participate in and lead regular financial update meetings with operators</li><li>Review and approve purchase requisitions and invoices, ensuring proper accounting and budget allocation</li><li>Work with controllership and FP&amp;A teams to ensure proper accounting of department expenses</li></ul><p><em>Ad hoc analysis and reporting:</em></p><ul><li>Perform analysis on financial performance and key business drivers, including regression and correlation analyses that provide meaningful recommendations and drive key business decisions</li><li>Assist with special projects to improve internal financial processes, develop key performance metrics, create efficiencies, and support operators</li></ul>",
