The SBHC LPC collaborates with staff and families to develop treatment plans, implement prevention programs, and connect families to community resources, while adhering to ethical guidelines.</span></p><div><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><strong><u>Work Experience Requirements:</u></strong></span></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0.15000000000000002in;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, behavior issues and trauma.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Act as a first responder for mental health crisis, conducting suicide risk assessments and safety planning.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Collaborate with school staff, teachers, families and external providers to support student needs.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans to improve mental health and academic outcomes.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to promote a holistic approach to healthcare.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Collaborates with school personnel and community services to provide continuity of care.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Provides mental health education for students, families, teachers, professional peers, and the community.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Performs case management duties and maintains documentation that meets standards for health system, Office of Public Health, Board of Social Work, and other supervising entities.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Contributes to performance improvement initiatives (development, data collection, LaPERT, etc.).
