This role supports daily transportation needs across multiple divisions while ensuring safe driving practices, regulatory compliance, timely deliveries, and excellent customer service.\\n\\nThis position plays a critical role in supporting United Ag&rsquo;s agricultural operations by ensuring products and materials are delivered safely, efficiently, and accurately while maintaining strong customer relationships and operational reliability.\\n\\nEssential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:\\n\\nTransportation &amp; Delivery Operations\\n\\n\\n\\tSafely transport feed, grain, agricultural products, equipment, and other materials to customer locations and United Ag facilities.\\n\\tLoad and unload products safely and efficiently.\\n\\tVerify delivery orders for accuracy before transport.\\n\\tEnsure timely deliveries while maintaining high customer service standards.\\n\\tAssist with route planning and scheduling adjustments as operational needs change.\\n\\tSupport product transfers between United Ag locations as needed.\\n\\n\\nCustomer Service\\n\\n\\n\\tProvide professional and courteous service during deliveries.\\n\\tCommunicate delivery updates, delays, or issues with customers and internal teams.\\n\\tRepresent United Ag professionally in customer and community interactions.\\n\\n\\nSafety &amp; Regulatory Compliance\\n\\n\\n\\tMaintain compliance with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.\\n\\tComplete required vehicle inspections before and after trips.\\n\\tMaintain accurate driving logs and required transportation documentation.\\n\\tReport accidents, maintenance concerns, and safety issues immediately.\\n\\tEnsure proper cargo securement and safe transportation practices.\\n\\n\\nVehicle Maintenance\\n\\n\\n\\tPerform routine inspections of assigned trucks, trailers, and equipment.\\n\\tMaintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles.\\n\\tCoordinate repairs and report maintenance issues promptly.\\n\\n\\nOperational Support\\n\\n\\n\\tAssist warehouse, grain, feed, and retail teams when transportation demands are lower.\\n\\tSupport seasonal harvest transportation needs.\\n\\tAssist with loading operations during peak agricultural seasons.\\n\\tPerform additional duties assigned by management\\n\\n\\nQualifications:\\n\\nEducation &amp; Experience\\n\\n\\n\\tHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred\\n\\tPrevious commercial driving experience preferred\\n\\tAgricultural transportation experience preferred\\n\\n\\nRequired Licenses &amp; Certifications\\n\\n\\n\\tValid Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (CDL), required\\n\\tClean driving record, required.&nbsp;\\n\\tDOT medical certification, required\\n\\tAdditional endorsements may be required depending on equipment operated\\n\\n\\nSkills &amp; Competencies\\n\\n\\n\\tStrong safety awareness\\n\\tDependability and punctuality\\n\\tStrong communication skills\\n\\tAbility to work independently\\n\\tProblem-solving skills\\n\\tCustomer service mindset\\n\\tAbility to adapt to changing operational demands\\n\\n\\nPhysical &amp; Work Environment Requirements\\n\\n\\n\\tAbility to lift and move materials as needed\\n\\tAbility to sit for extended driving periods\\n\\tAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions\\n\\tAbility to work flexible schedules, extended hours, weekends, and peak seasonal demands when necessary\\n\\n\\nThe work environment characteristics and physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
