Awanui Group has laboratories throughout the country and is committed to providing facilities and services that deliver exceptional care to its clients.<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br><br>About the role | Mō te tūranga:<br></span>We are currently seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and skilled <span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technician</em></span> to join our Laboratory team in a permanent part-time role. The position is based at our Timaru Laboratory and includes participation in a 24/7 rotating roster, sharing the same responsibilities and expectations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You will be willing to learn new skills and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You are well organised, detail oriented, and approachable, with a strong focus on quality and customer service. A high degree of accuracy and the ability to work autonomously are essential for success in this role.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In this role, you will support the daily operations of the laboratory by performing a range of essential tasks while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.</p>\n<p><br><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Key Responsibilities:</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct laboratory work, including preparing, sorting, and processing specimens.
